A lot has been happening to the Dobson couple in the recent months. In lieu of a honeymoon we decided to use the money and purchase our first home! On March 10th we closed on a historic 1938 cape cod style home that was full of character and charm but needed a lot of TLC. The original hardwood floors, coved ceilings, glass doorknobs and perfect location had us at hello. We knew it would be a lot of work but we were ready for the adventure!
Some of the changes we plan to make are gutting the kitchen and bathroom and staring over, refinishing the hardwood floors, painting EVERYTHING, new moulding, new lighting fixtures, adding french doors, adding a bathroom and making a scary, gross basement a living space. Whew!
We have already completed many of the above so i'll just have to catch you up on this ol' blog.
