White Paint and Some Art

You may remember a while back when I shared my bathroom painting surprise.  Well, I remedied that problem real quick!  I repainted the space in a semi-gloss white and added some wall art!

Y'all know that the eclectic, mixy piece look is my jam. So I went with that look in this room too! I really like how it turned out.  I need a few more things on the wall but for now this is good! I hope you enjoy!

Family Trip - Lake Chelan

A couple weeks ago we joined my moms side of the family for a trip to Lake Chelan.  It was hot, relaxing and so great to spend time with family and friends! - Here is a photo dump of our fun time!

Our hotel had a view of the pool and lake! The balcony was Cru's favorite place to hang out! I could get ready and pack for the beach while the patio babysat.  It was great!

I had no idea how beautiful this place is.  It was truly stunning!

Lots of fun in the sun!

Our little family of three snuck away one morning to get breakfast at Blueberry Hills.  It was AMAZING.  If you're ever in the area, go there!

It was a great time! Definitely looking forward to going back!!

New Addition

A while back we inherited Justin's Great Grandpas Juke Box!  It's been in the garage for about a year but we finally got it into the house!  Right now it resides in our living room.

Here it is in the space.  It makes the room a little crowded but will work for now.  Once we get a new couch it will be better.  There is a lot of big furniture going on and I'm sure I'll make changes but for now, this is where we're at.

How do you incorporate family heirlooms into your décor?

Painting Problems...

Well... it's looking lavender.  NOT what I was expecting.  This was some left over paint we had and lavender is definitely not the color.  It was supposed to read as mostly white a super subtle gray...

So we'll try again... this time with white paint.  It's amazing how paint reads differently in different spaces.  I have noticed in our old house, specifically the main floor, that the paint is coming out so different than how it looks in the can.  A little frustrating but a good learning experience! =]

I'll will have after a to show you soon!

Our 4th of July

I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July! We sure did! We spent the weekend at my in-laws soaking in the hot sun and cool pool.  I was a weekend away that our little family definitely needed!

The first of the photos are all from my iphone so they aren't the greatest but the second have were taken from my friend Michele!  Thanks for capturing such great moments!

Cru loved the water as you can see!

My father-in-law built this awesome wagon for Cru! It was such a sweet gift and I see lots of fun memories happening with it! Thank you SO much!!!

The dogs had a wonderful time as well!
