Last weekend we said goodbye to our Spokane home. Justin grew up there and I fell in love there.
Every person who has visited there was welcomed and has left with fond memories. Many thought of it as an oasis or a wonderful place to just get away.
The main reason people felt like this wasn't because of the home but because of the warm, wonderful people who lived there...
We all knew we had to do a proper send off. So we packed up our bags and drove over the mountains to help move, bring home some of our own stuff and celebrate the life and memories that were created there!
I rode over with kev-dood and neener and got to share the back seat with my little fur niece, Albus! She is so cute and LOVES licking the closed window!
We arrived late Friday night and Saturday commenced with beer and a 'Get er Done' attitude.
There was a lot of stuff to move and thank goodness God created men because I don't have the patience or muscle to move all that they did.
They were moving cabinets, beds, TVs and everything else! The ladies were inside gingerly packing dishes and decor and needed breaks about every 10 minutes (and a wine refill). The boys definitely rocked it. Bravo men... Bravo.
This little bean served as a great distraction to the physical/emotional toll that was pulling on us.
She is so good and had so much fun in the pool!
She is so snuggly when she sleeps! I LOVE IT!
Her favorite toy was Albus, she would just sit in he play pen and laugh at her!
Our boys were having a blast too! They kept cooling off in the pond and were very helpful in the moving process I'm sure...
One night we couldn't find Abu! After searching for a little bit we found him passed out right next to his grandpa! I think he knew Roger was a sad and thought it would be helpful to be by him.
There are tons of memories I will take from this home but some of the best are...
The 4th of July celebrations...
and two of the best weddings EVER! =]
We love you Coco and will miss you! Who knows, maybe we'll meet again?!
